Nubank is a big Brazilian digital bank. Between 2020 and 2021, as part of an intense expansion plan, the brand worked with Pentagram to update its visual identity. With the final creative direction in hands, Arnold was invited by the brand design team to be part of a series of co-creation sprints to roll out the visual system and create some of its guidelines.

Alongside Nubank's design team, we went through an intense series of sprints and co-creation sessions to establish system guidelines for the new brand created by Pentagram. The original modular concept brought by the creative project gave birth to a grid structure that works within each module, allowing designers to work with flexible and different layouts. Other guidelines created included directions for correct use of colors and Gellix, Nubank's new typography.
We also participated in the creation of the NuInvest sub-brand, which was born during the work sprints. Its palette is derived from Nubank's colors, but it gains its own tones to convey a sober mood. The final result of the co-creation with Nubank's creatives generated visual guidelines that are important for consistently rolling out the bank's new visual identity
